Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups basmati rice


  • 1 nos onion


  • 1 nos tomatoes


  • 1 nos carrot


  • 1 nos potato


  • 1/2 cups peas


  • 1 nos bay leaf


  • 1 nos cinnamon


  • 4 nos cloves


  • 2 tsp chilli powder


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 2 tsp garam masala powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 cups milk


  • 3 cups water


  • 1/2 cups curd


  • 1/2 cups coriander leaves


  • 1/2 cups mint leaves


  • 3 nos green chilli


  • 6 nos garlic

Directions

  • Take Coriander leaves, Mint Leaves, Green Chilli, Garlic, Ginger in a blender and make into a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a Pan
  • Add cinnamon, bay leaf and cloves.
  • Add sliced onions and cook till it turns light golden.
  • Now add the ground masala and mix well.
  • Add tomatoes and saute till oil separates.
  • Add in chilli powder, salt, turmeric and garam masala powder.
  • Add in curd, vegetables and mix well. Cook for 5 min.
  • Add soaked drained rice and toss well in the masala.
  • Add in water and milk. Mix well and bring it to a boil.
  • Cover with a lid, simmer for 20 to 25 mins till the rice is done. Now turn off the heat and let it sit for 10 mins.
